Stephanie is responsible for Smoothly’s operational management. At the heart of her work are business development together with Jarkko, leading the Smoothly Network, and overseeing HR and finance. In practice, this means ensuring day-to-day smoothness as well as developing the entire company culture and operating model.

She has been with Smoothly since 2019 and has played a key role in building an organisation where freedom, continuous development, and shared success are the cornerstones of everyday work. Her background is in HR and finance roles within expert organisations. Stephanie holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration, with majors in Management & International Business and Human Resource Management.

In her work, Stephanie draws on her extensive experience in leadership, people-centered development, and building remote-first cultures. She has a rare ability to see connections and grasp the bigger picture, while also meeting people genuinely and finding the most effective ways for each individual to work.

Stephanie finds her work meaningful when she can help create a work life where people thrive, succeed, and feel their work is truly valuable. For her, the best part about Smoothly is that everyone is genuinely excited about their work and can fully be themselves.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys being outdoors with her family, whether hiking, running, or walking the dog in the forest. She also describes herself as a passionate audiobook listener.
